Texas Motors Competition
Local Motors has announced the Texas Motors Design Competition, a sketch contest which asks participants to create a dynamic vehicle specifically designed for hunting activities. The submission deadline is 9 February 2010.

The latest design competition from Local Motors asks the community to create a hunting vehicle for the gamers of Texas.
The first three prizes are $1,500; $300; and $200. Top 3 designers will also earn Winner Status within the Local Motors community, as well as exclusive LM winner's T-Shirts.
Submissions Begin on Wednesday, January 27th, 2010. The submission deadline isTuesday, February 9th, 2010, while the voting deadline is February 16th, 2010.
The Brief
"Design a vehicle for Texas that could easily meet the demands of hunters and could adapt depending on the requirements of the different types of game -- white tail deer, quail, dove, and javalina to name a few.
"This vehicle should be a ready-made solution for hunters of every variety; whether hunting stags or fowl, this compartmentalized home base vehicle can do the job.
