History
This aircraft was originally created to combat trainer aircraft. With the small size and relatively low maintenance costs, these aircraft are attractive countries of the world, including Indonesia. The aircraft was considered capable enough to run peswat attack role, to provide support for ground troops, and to attack the vital objects. But for matters of air duel, capabilities Hawk is still in doubt.
Actually Indonesia itself has 3 variants of the Hawk aircraft, the Hawk MK-53, Hawk MK-109 and Hawk MK-209. Hawk MK-53 itself is only used as a fighter trainer aircraft (or perhaps a backup power at crucial moments), while her brother used as MK-109/209 Hawk air defense. Hawk MK-109 is a variant of the Hawk and manned by two people have dipugrade avionics systems, electrical, and design a better wing. Hawk MK-209 belonging to a strong variant of the Hawk (though not super), dedesain to be able to run a dual role as attack aircraft and attack aircraft, and radar systems have been equipped with the equivalent of radar systems A F-16 Fighting Falcon. Indonesia itself bought 8 units Hawk MK-109 and 32 units of Hawk MK-209.
Interesting Facts
Indonesia difficulty using this aircraft in several combat missions, because the British considered cranky in monitoring the use of country-made aircraft. In some combat missions, the plane was nevertheless used for spare parts embargo threat from England.

History
A-4 Skyhawk is the oldest aircraft still active in the ranks of the TNI AU. Like the F-5 Tiger, this plane is also a Vietnam War veteran aircraft, which serve as attack aircraft for attacking ground objects, providing air support for infantry troops (according to the code A in front of the plane). This aircraft is a pioneer in this aircraft-refuelling water. This aircraft can operate from aircraft carriers, although the old carrier even if the size is not adequate for fighter jets younger.
The aircraft was also enough of experience on the battlefield. Some ended successfully, some not. In the Falklands war between Argentina-English, thanks to the courage of the Argentine pilots to fly "very low", A-4 managed to sink the ships of war England as HMS Coventry and HMS Antelope. A-4 also managed to severely damage the other ships such as HMS Sir Galahad, HMS Glasgow, HMS Argonaut, etc..
This aircraft also served in the Yom Kippur war between Israel and the Middle East countries. Not as sweet as the story of A-4 in the Falklands, A-4 in this war by losing a lot of beaten fighter jets and Europe as Soviet MiG-17, MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-25, Super Etendard and Mirage or by SAM rockets (Static Antiaircraft Missile) Soviet-made. For failing, these aircraft were "removed" from the Israeli Air Force and bought Indonesia.
Interesting Facts
The aircraft was purchased from Israel through an intelligence operation which is very neat, to avoid the reaction of the Indonesian people that most anti-Israel. This aircraft purchased in conjunction with the arrival of F-5E Tiger II of the Americans (via Halim Perdana Kusuma), so the arrival of this aircraft (via Tanjung Priok) did not get the spotlight because the media is more focused on the arrival of F-5E Tiger II. But the status of the aircraft as an old aircraft lost the war, still invites concern from the public. edit
